Church History

How It All Began

RCCG Grace & Glory Assembly (GAGA) was established in April 27, 2025 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, as a parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

The assembly was established with a desire to provide a welcoming spiritual home where people can encounter God, grow in their faith, discover their God-given purpose and become equipped to make a positive impact in their families, workplaces and communities.

From its humble beginning, Grace & Glory Assembly has continued to develop as a growing worshipping community committed to prayer, the teaching of the Word of God, discipleship, fellowship and the transformation of lives.

The church celebrated its First Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, April 26, 2026, marking one year of God's faithfulness and grace.

Vision & Mission

Vision, Mission and Our Local Ministry Expression

RCCG Vision and Mission

  • To make Heaven.
  • To take as many people with us.
  • To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations.
  • To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle.
  • To accomplish Nos. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.
  • We will pursue these objectives until every nation in the world is reached for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Local Ministry Expression

In alignment with the global vision and mission of RCCG, Grace & Glory Assembly exists to raise a growing community of believers who know God, walk in His grace, manifest His glory and positively impact their families, workplaces, communities and the world.

We are committed to leading people into a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ, building them through the teaching of God's Word and discipleship, empowering them through the Holy Spirit and equipping them to fulfil their God-given purpose.

Our ministry is focused on salvation, holiness, spiritual growth, discipleship, service, leadership development and the positive transformation of lives and communities.

Our Core Values

What We Stand For

01

Holiness: Integrity, Obedience and Transparency

This shall be the lifestyle of true disciples in the Lord's service. We are committed to living with integrity, walking in obedience to God's Word and conducting ourselves with transparency.

James 3:17–18; 1 Thessalonians 4:1–8

02

Accountability and Responsibility

As believers, we shall be held accountable for the exercise of authority bestowed on us. Workers and leaders in the Church will necessarily make decisions and take actions on behalf of the Church on specific issues of ministry and governance. They will therefore be accountable for the decisions they make and the actions they take on behalf of the Church.

Luke 19:15; James 1:13–15; Romans 14:12

03

Resourcefulness: Fruitfulness and Diligence

As believers, we value the inner strength and divine ability to find ways of doing things and solving problems and challenges. This includes the gift of administration and the qualities of creativity, courage, vision and imagination that enable us to deal effectively with difficult situations.

Jeremiah 32:27; Ephesians 6:10

04

Sacrifice: Faithfulness and Hard Work

We believe that sacrifice is the willingness to give up something important or valuable in order to accomplish something of greater importance for the advancement of God's Kingdom. We therefore value faithfulness, hard work and sacrificial service.

1 John 3:16; Romans 12:1–2
